Social responsibility
The competence and well-being of personnel form the most central dimension of Atria’s social responsibility. At Atria, social responsibility also covers complying with and, where possible, exceeding, national and international regulations concerning product safety and responsibility as well as consumer protection, such as product markings and marketing communications. Social responsibility covers also the promotion of animal welfare and nutritional responsibility.
Atria uses its position in the food chain in a responsible manner. It only deals with such primary producers and subcontractors, customers and other business partners that are known to be trustworthy and honest. Atria favours partners that, in addition to price and quality arguments, are able to demonstrate that they operate in accordance with ethically acceptable practices.
